Summer was an exhilarating time when every EIT InnoEnergy student can finally break free from the shackles of classrooms and libraries. Drumrolls, please! Our academic year has come to an end, granting us endless opportunities to dive headfirst into thrilling adventures, whether it’s through summer internships, acquiring new skills, or creating unforgettable memories that will forever be etched in our lives.
But wait, before I dive into the abyss of my summer break, let’s explore the sensational opportunities that await us as EIT InnoEnergy students. Picture this: winter school, summer school, and a plethora of events that offer the chance to acquire new skills in your field of interest with no pressure attached. It’s like a buffet of educational delights where you get to choose what suits your taste.
Educational Opportunities
Having been fortunate enough to attend the 2022 winter school programme, “Digital Business and Venturing for Energy Engineers” I can vouch for the mind-blowing experience it offers. Imagine being equipped with the skills to conquer the digital business landscape, becoming a master of your own destiny as you pave the way for digital innovation. It’s the ultimate ticket to establishing your own digital empire, becoming an entrepreneur, or even driving groundbreaking innovations within an organisation. The possibilities are endless!
Summer school “Data Science and AI for energy enginers” that kicked off on 24 July 2023 was an opportunity you didn’t want to miss. Unraveling the mysteries of analysing, forecasting, and optimising energy flexibility and demand using data science and artificial intelligence techniques. Delving into the mesmerising world of machine learning models, time series analysis, and statistics, empowering yourself to predict energy demand like never before. Plus, unlocking the secrets to optimising energy resources, welding cutting-edge tools and arbitrary cost functions like a true wizard.
Beyond winter and summer school
But wait, there’s more! Even beyond the winter and summer schools, the EIT InnoEnergy online catalogue beckons, offering a treasure trove of knowledge waiting to be explored. From captivating topics to ignite your curiosity, staying ahead of the game has never been easier!
And guess what? There’s one more thrilling adventure on my horizon as an EIT InnoEnergy student. I am bracing myself for The Business Booster in the electrifying city of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, happening this October. As a student assistant, I’ll be diving headfirst into the heart of innovation, but I won’t spoil too much just yet. Stay tuned for more awe-inspiring tales, where I’ll share more juicy stories!
