DI Agendasättarna: Energi

EIT InnoEnergy will host a panel discussion dedicated to green hydrogen at the occasion of Agendasättrana:Energi event, a new and in-depth forum organised by Sweden’s leading media Dagens Industri. The session will take place on 16 June 2021, 09:00-10:00, on the topic Green hydrogen: always the future, never now?

Panel debate description

Green hydrogen: always the future, never now?

In the integrated energy system of the future, green hydrogen is expected to play a key role in several sectors where other alternatives aiming at reducing greenhouse gas emissions are not feasible or much more expensive. These include transportation and energy-intensive industrial processes. Green hydrogen is therefore seen as an enabler for achieving the energy transition in several sectors while opening up new business and export opportunities. Several large-scale projects and initiatives have already begun and include applications from power production to industrial processes, from mobility to energy storage. But what does it take to accelerate this development? And how can we best strengthen Sweden’s industrialisation, growth and competitiveness?
