Decarbonise hard to abate industrial value chains

The European Green Hydrogen Acceleration Center (EGHAC) creates industrial players and helps them to de-risk and accelerate their green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol and aviation fuel projects. They do this through early-stage investment and acceleration services. By bringing all stakeholders together including the off taker, the risks and benefits can be shared so that the premium for a carbon-free product is kept to a minimum.

Ambition

By 2025 the EGHAC wants to build a EUR 100 bilion a year green hydrogen economy this will create up to 500,000 direct and indirect jobs across the value chain.

Focus value chains

EGHAC focuses on the use of green hydrogen (and derivates) to decarbonise the value chains for steel, fertilizers, chemicals, and mobility (maritime, aviation, HGV).

The projects they support are ideally early stage (pre)-feasibility. It can be for example a project developer or founder who has a good idea, great team or access to land or renewables. It should be a project with an industrial vision and value chain focus.
