The need
84 mT of domestic packaging waste is produced annually in Europe. Some 40% is incinerated and dumped in landfills, causing 10.64 mT of CO2 and incurring losses of €5,199 million.

An easy to implement waste container device that stands apart from current packaging waste containers. Incorporating big data generation, it can identify who is recycling, the type of material packaging and where and when the recycling is taking place. An energy self-sufficient product, the RecySmart is designed to tolerate vibrations during waste discharge.
