Floating offshore wind is a technology growing rapidly in the market at a global scale and it will contribute to reaching Europe’s decarbonisation targets by 2050 providing almost a third of all the installed capacity (between 100-150 GW).

National energy policy is a huge driver of this growth but current policies will not take us there. Political changes are needed to move to projects as large as bottom fixed and reach full commercial scale.
