EIT InnoEnergy supported start-up Supersola strikes deal with electronic retailer BCC (part of FNAC) for distribution of their plug & play solar panels. This deal with expand the reach and enable more people to contribute to the energy transition and take advantage of easy generated solar power!

“The two biggest barriers that people now experience when purchasing solar panels is the large investment at once and the idea that solar panels are complex. For example, I previously worked at a large energy company where customers came up with so many technical and detailed questions that only specialized personnel could answer them. I was very surprised that questions like this were asked. Does an average consumer sometimes ask which graphics processor is in a computer? Solar panels must take the same step as the computer. These were also technically and complex at first, but now everyone can use them. ” Says Julius Smith, founder of Supersola.
