The Premios EXPANSIÓN Startup brought together more than a hundred representatives of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Barcelona, awarding emerging companies that are positioning themselves among the most promising in Spain.

InnoEnergy was responsible for the “Environment and Energy” category, awarded to BeePlanet (1^st), Chargick (2^nd) and The Predictive Company (3^rd).
The event brought together about 120 attendees, including entrepreneurs, managers of large companies and other relevant members of the ecosystem. The awards, which are sponsored by Abertis, Cellnex, InnoEnergy, Novartis, Visa, Núñez i Navarro (NiN) and Deusto Business School as the academic collaborator, has six categories. Each of them has had three start-up winners after an exhaustive selection based on the 218 applications received.

From InnoEnergy perspective it makes special sense when it’s about supporting entrepreneurship in the field of sustainable energy as these start-ups are fully aligned with our mission which is accelerating the energy transition in Europe”, says Josep-Miquel Torregrosa, Business Creation Officer at InnoEnergy and one of the juries at the event.
