InnoBlog: Building your network as an EIT InnoEnergy student

You are not coming to Europe just to study!

So, you are thinking of pursuing an EIT InnoEnergy Master’s programme. Maybe you are considering the Master’s in Smart Electrical Networks and Systems, like I did? Is  Master’s in Renewable Energy the right programme for you? Or perhaps Master’s in Energy for Smart Cities?

Regardless of the programme, you are not coming just to take courses. You will join to become part of Europe’s largest energy ecosystem. And there will be many opportunities for you to broaden your experience, like joining various student organisations.

Joining a like-minded CommUnity

In fact, did you know that EIT InnoEnergy has a student organisation that you can be a part of? It’s called EIT InnoEnergy CommUnity, and it is a great network to be a part of!

I first heard about it upon my arrival in Stockholm in my first year, and was immediately intrigued: it seemed like a group of the most dedicated students, taking their passion for energy outside the classroom. They organised lunch and learns, speaker series and more to invite guests – from industry to government – to share that passion for energy with their fellow students and community.
