Hippogriff won the World’s Innovator Race

“Allen” Ali Mohammadi is a remarkable man. He and his brother Max are building up one of the most innovative start-ups in the world. Their company, Hippogriff AB, won the “World’s Innovators Race” in the field of “Consumers & Well-being”, a worldwide competition, organised by Capgemini, to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Hippogriff prevailed against 1000 entrants from all over the world by successfully pitching their idea, live on stage, in front of a large audience.

Max and Allen are the entrepreneurs behind the “Complex Disease Detector”, which can diagnose a risk of heart disease before it’s even happened. The artificial intelligence based design uses blood tests, ECG diagrams and demography data.

Allen, who was also recently acknowledged in the Forbes “30 under 30” list, is studying his Master’s in Energy Technologies, one of our Master’s School programmes.

“Effective and valuable education through ENTECH broadened my horizons by enabling me to see the Big Picture while enhancing my innovative thinking,” says Allen.

“This award will certainly contribute to realising our vision of saving at least 1 million lives each year.”
