Regular fee: 3,950 EUR

Alumni fee: 2,950 EUR (for graduates of EIT InnoEnergy Master’s or PhD programmes)

Who is this programme for? 

 

This master certificate is designed for professionals with an understanding of core concepts in energy and power engineering. A minimum of two years of work experience and profiency in programming language (Phython) is desirable..

 

Useful resources will be provided to participants with no prior experience in Python.

Prof. dr. Hussain Kazmi 

Research professor in energy and data science at KU Leuven, with international background, having worked and studied at top engineering universities around the world including London, Singapore, Sweden, the Netherlands, etc. His current research interests include large-scale data-driven forecasting and optimisation, as well as how human behaviour, climate change, and market design. He was awarded the prestigious IIF-SAS forecaster of the year award in 2021, and has also held several positions as a senior data scientist and researcher in the energy industry. Hussain is also alumnus of EIT InnoEnergy PhD School.

Attila Bálint 

PhD Candidate at KU Leuven. Experienced data scientist with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and energy industry at two successful cleantech start-ups.  Strong engineering professional graduated from EIT InnoEnergy’s Master in Renewable Energy with a double degree focused on Energy Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and École Polytechnique.

Accomplished coach, trainer, and data scientist with extensive experience in innovation and entrepreneurship. As a co-founder of Kimitisik, he has played a critical role in delivering short-term innovation and entrepreneurship education programmes to university students and professionals and leading the company’s startup consulting services.
