All accepted students are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of €250. This fee is only requested after students have accepted an offer by one of our programmes. There is no application fee.

EIT InnoEnergy Master programmes are supported by the EIT, a body of the European Union.
We are committed to training the next generation energy engineers through innovative learning methodologies, training in business and entrepreneurship, international exposure and much more. Even those students who pay a full participation fee, do not pay for the total costs of their studies. The participation fee represents a significant discount to the actual cost of EIT InnoEnergy education.

Depending on the study location and personal expectations, EIT InnoEnergy reccomends ~€750-1250 per month. Intake 2021
For intake 2021, the following scholarships and fee waivers are available:
Academic Excellence Scholarship:
€18.000 participation fee waiver per year + €750 monthly allowance
Academic Excellence Scholarships are only available to accepted students from Rounds 1 and 2. Academic Excellence Scholarships are granted to 1 or maximum 2 candidates per programme per round.
The awardee(s) are selected based on the admission ranking of each specific programme (considering past performance, quality of previous education and university, professional background, affinity with innovation and entrepreneurship) There is no need for applicants to take additional actions to be considered for this scholarship.
Energy Impact Scholarships:
€ 18.000 participation fee waiver per year
€ 13.000 participation fee waiver per year (awarded candidates pay € 5.000 participation fee per year)
€ 8.000 participation fee waiver per year (awarded candidates pay € 10.000 participation fee per year)
There is a total of 25 Energy Impact Scholarships worth € 18.000 participation fee waiver per year for intake 2021. These are distributed amongst programmes and application rounds. The number of scholarships available varies per programme.
The Energy Impact Scholarship worth € 13.000 participation fee waiver per year is reserved for students holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an EIT InnoEnergy Master School partner university or another top European University.
Selected students are automatically awarded an Energy Impact Scholarship as part of the application rounds. There is no need for additional actions to be considered for these scholarships. Learn more about our Application Rounds here.
€ 5.000 participation fee waiver per year (awarded candidates pay € 13.000 participation fee per year)
EIT InnoEnergy and COLFUTURO have teamed up to support the ambitions of Colombian prospective students. All students accepted to join an EIT InnoEnergy programme starting in 2021 and who also receive funding through COLFUTURO automatically benefit from this scholarship.
Who gets a scholarship?
Full/Partial waivers, scholarships and grants are awarded based on a combination of academic criteria (such as past performance, quality of previous education and university), or ideas for or experience with innovation and entrepreneurship. Full waivers and grants are awarded only to the highest ranking scholarship applicants on each programme.
Decisions about scholarships are final and cannot be appealed. EIT InnoEnergy reserves the right to allocate scholarships based its own established criteria.
Please note: It is not possible to appeal decisions regarding scholarships, and the selection results (ranking) do not constitute grounds for an appeal. It is not possible to transfer an EIT InnoEnergy Master’s School scholarship to another EIT InnoEnergy programme or to a non- EIT InnoEnergy programme.
Code of conduct. All students, including those in receipt of an EIT InnoEnergy scholarship, agree to the terms of the code of conduct. Any breaches of the code of conduct may result in the student agreement being dissolved.

Financing your studies through Erasmus+
Erasmus+ study loans have been created by the European Commission to make it easier to study a full degree programme abroad.
All our Master’s programmes take place in an Erasmus+ programme country. Certain students may therefore apply for an EU-guaranteed Erasmus+ study loans at a bank in their home country.
Currently the Erasmus+ scheme is available through universities and banks in Spain, Italy (Emilia Romagna), Croatia, Romania and Turkey for outgoing students from these countries who are pursuing postgraduate study abroad; and to students from other programme countries going to Spain for a Master’s course.
