Reply to the study offer within a week
If you have applied for more than one Master’s programme, you may get two study offers by email. Please reply to both emails.
You will also need to pay a registration fee of €250 within two weeks of receiving your acceptance letter. This confirms your place on the programme. The fee is non-refundable. Your acceptance letter will contain details of how to make this payment.
Send officially certified copies of all the required documents
Once accepted on one of our Master’s programmes, you will need to send, by post, certified copies of
Your Bachelor’s degree certificate
Your final transcript of records
We will need certified copies of these documents in the original language and, where necessary, an English translation. If documents are issued in English by the university, these documents are sufficient. Please keep your original degree documents and do not send them to the InnoEnergy Admissions Office.
Please include a note with your application number.
Info: Even when the tracking of your shipment says “delivered”, it might take some time until the documents reach our desks. We will send you a notification when we have checked your documents.
The set of documents you send to the Admissions Office cannot be returned. Year 1 and Year 2 Universities will inform you about the necessary documents for the enrolment.
IMPORTANT: validating your documents
A certified copy is a photocopy of your original document that has been stamped and signed to confirm that it is atrue copy of the original document. We accept certified copies that have been stamped and signed by the degree administration office or equivalent department at the issuing institution, or by a Notary Public. We do not accept statements made by professors or the heads of departments.
Only translations by a licenced translator who is authorised to attest that the translation is the legal equivalent of the original text are accepted. The stamp and signature must be original and clearly visible.
The deadline for submitting the certified copies and the official translations will be in your acceptance letter.
If you graduated in Australia, Cameroon, Canada, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, New Zealand, Nigeria or USA: We can only accept an official transcript of records sent by post in a sealed envelope directly from the issuing university. In this case, a copy of the degree certificate is not needed.
If you graduated in Italy: A laurea transcript with final grade (out of 110) and an original Marca da Bollo is required.
If you graduated in Pakistan: you will need to send by post hard copies of your degree certificate and your final transcript. Both documents need to be certified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Pakistan. Each page of your transcript of records, as well as your degree certificate has to be stamped and signed by the HEC. All documents need to reach the KIC InnoEnergy Admissions Office at the same time. Your admission will remain conditional until the paper copy of the HEC attestation, with original stamp and signature has arrived. Please note: We only accept documents attested after 1 March 2009.
If you graduated in China: Students with Chinese nationality who would like to complete part of their studies in the Netherlands need a Nuffic certificate in order to complete their admission and obtain a visa. The Nuffic certificate can only be used for your residence permit application in the Netherlands and is made digitally available to the Dutch higher education institution you selected.
The institute will forward the certificate to the Dutch immigration authorities for your entry visa application. Please start preparing your application for a Nuffic certificate at the same time as you start your application for one of our programmes. Once you have secured your Nuffic certificate, please send it to the Dutch university where you will be studying.
Students with Chinese nationality who would like to complete part of their studies in Germany or Belgium will also need to send an original APS certificate. Please send the original APS to your chosen university in Germany by post.
