The WindFloat is a semi-submersible floating wind turbine foundation. It is a 3-column structure linked by a truss, combining proven technologies from oil and gas and wind industry into an innovative solution that provides access to transitional and deep-water offshore wind sites. The relatively shallow draft of the platform enables installation of the turbine at quayside, and the complete structure to be towed to its final location.
