The product, Deep Green, consists of a wing and turbine which is attached by a tether to a fixed point on the seafloor. As water flows over the wing, the water current creates a lift force on the wing that pushes the kite forward. The key uniqueness of the product is the way that the water flow is increased into the turbine by flying the product and thus pushing the onboard turbine through the water. This solution can exploit slow streams.
