Thesis and Internships Coordinator
Your Role
We are looking for a new colleague, who will be in the lead of the student support for thesis placements and internships.
You will organise different matchmaking activities between EIT InnoEnergy Master School students and the industry within our ecosystem.
Besides that, the personal support of our students is a big part of the job. To get a better understanding of their needs we will conduct regular surveys and manage our student database properly.
Together with the Career Centre Manager, CommUnity Coordinator, Alumni Officer, you are part of a team delivering added value for our EIT InnoEnergy Master School students and alumni.
Key Responsibilities
Support EIT Master School students finding a thesis placement/internship, focused on final year master student level (they need help between Feb year 1 – Feb year 2)
Guide the creation and recruitment of thesis placements within the ecosystem
Support the writing of the thesis research question for our startups or innovations projects
Make an overview of the support each of our Master programmes needs, per location, to oversee the needs for thesis placements per year; Collect all Master programmes support.
Design the service we will provide to support the students and the programmes and create clear communications to all stakeholders
Work together with other Career Centre offerings where possible (e.g. coaching programme).
Constant promotion of our students among the EIT InnoEnergy ecosystem, internal colleagues and external organisations.
Manage the creation of a thesis database
Manage the data management and reporting of the match making results
Design, deliver and promote a CV book of students who are looking for a thesis to our startups
Support Career Centre Manager, CommUnity Coordinator and Alumni Officer with all CommUnity platform and data management activities.
Skills and Experience
As thesis placement offerings can be quite technical, we are looking for an energy engineer. You are
an energy engineer – at academic education level or being able to understand and write about energy engineering/technical thesis offerings.
able to advise on the quality (and so the content) of thesis placements offerings towards companies
equipped with the basics for data management and CRM (following prospects etc.)
a fast communicator, being able to keep ‘’ten balls in the air’’ at the same time.

an excellent English speaker and writer
experienced with (one of) our Master School programmes (is a pre)
