We are seeking for a candidate with first experience in the field of digital trainings and E-Learning as part of the content and training delivery team for the new EBA Battery Academy. The EBA Academy will be a public-private initiative to support the transformation of the European industry towards an electrified and green future, funded by the EU. The EBA Battery Academy will provide training and skills solutions for the whole battery value chain as new and strong strategic industrial pillar erecting across Europe. The goal is to set up and run a pan-European training and skills platform – With strong focus on distance learning tools and E-Learning – embedded in the European Battery Alliance network and all its industry partners.
The position holder will serve as generalist taking over different tasks in the field of content development, content maintenance and training execution at the EBA Battery Academy. On the one side, we need strong support for the maintenance and administration of all digital training contents, such as versioning, translation or other operational tasks. On the other side, the position holder will take over projects in the delivery of trainings to customers, where a talent in project management might be needed. The role includes a strong collaboration with internal resources like instructional designers and thematic experts as well as interaction with customers.
The successful candidate will work as part of a central education team to deliver industry leading online and blended training products in collaboration with external training providers (B2B2C Business Model). Even if the job will include dealing with public funding mechanisms (reportings, tendering eg.) we see the initiative as commercial oriented start-up structure, where agility and customer orientation is key.
Key Responsibilities
Be part of the central content production team
Take over several learning and training projects in parallel (Trainings / courses)
Work closely with internal resources to deliver the (digital) productions in time and in quality for the customers
Take over tasks of versioning, maintenance and updating of existing digital training contents
Work 100% aligned with the content architecture strategy of the EBA Battery academy (course and module structures, formats, methods)
Required Skills and Experience
First experience in similar positions either within an education organisation (public or private) or the L&D department of an Industry company is desirable
Project management talent with first experience in the field of digital training
Operational knowledge of (digital) Training instruments, with a strong focus on E-learning solutions and distance learning tools
Knowledge of international e-learning certification standards and certification systems
Knowledge of automated testing software is desirable
Experience of SCORM and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage
Technologically savvy, including a minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, CMS)
At least Bachelor’s degree in a relevant and related discipline (instructional design, pedagogics eg.)
Previous experience with Authoring tools would be a plus
Start-Up and hands-on Mindset, with abilities to understand the basics of a public financed environment
