The start-up

VERTEQUIP (Vertical Equipment) was created with the unique purpose of developing parts and equipment necessary to the sectors of construction, industry, renewable energies, services and maintenance for vertical structures. Our mission is “to develop simple and effective equipments that are able to increase safety and productivity in works at heights.” Vertequip was originated from TRAVER, a company that performs works at heights for more than 10 years, with the aim of creating new solutions for these works. The company should be based on three pillars: safety, productivity, and innovation. These three characteristics would necessarily be united towards a single purpose: to create something new, unique and easy to use.

The need

Performing works at heights entail severe risk and low productivity.

The solution

S.T.E.P, a unique system that is the simple and practical way it allows workers, including handicapped and amputees to perform works at heights more safely and efficiently. The system uses only one harness, moving workers both horizontally and vertically while controlling everything through a remote control. S.T.E.P is adequate for any type of structure, whether it is a building, bridge, silo, wind tower or even an oil rig.

Value proposition

Vertequip designs and develops modern equipment and products with environmentally friendly materials. Their proposition includes a lighter and safer system for the structures, which doesn’t demand a high maintenance or cleaning cost.  In addition, every product is developed with the conception of social inclusiveness, allowing people with physical disabilities to be included in the largest field of activity worldwide, the construction sector.
