Swedish start-up Greenely nominated year’s sustainable project!

Every year since 2005, CIO Sweden hosts the CIO Awards, a gala evening where the CIO of the Year, the Year of projects and the Year sustainable projects are announced.

A Swedish start-up coming out of KTH Innovation and currently incubated under the KIC InnoEnergy Highway acceleration program, was nominated for the year’s sustainable projects in this year’s edition of the contest CIO Awards.

We are talking about Greenely, a start-up that is revolutionizing the way we utilize energy in our homes by gamifying our private energy consumption. Today, the start-up is rolling out its technology in 200 households in Västerås in collaboration with the Swedish utility Mälarenergi.

The winners of the CIO Awards will be chosen by a jury of professional board members, CEOs, CIOs, experts and researchers and will be presented during the award ceremony on December14th 2015. We hold our finger crossed for our Swedish start-up finalists!
