KAStrion presents its results at an international conference in Oxford

The innovation project KAStrion supported by KIC InnoEnergy was presented at the Twelfth International Conference on Condition Monitoring and Machinery Failure Prevention Technologies in Oxford from 9 to 11 June. KAStrion consists on a current and vibration analysis for preventive and predictive condition based maintenance in offshore wind farms.

The project manager, Nadine Martin and 3 people of her team: Georgia CABLEA, Guanghan SONG and Zhong-Yang LI attended the conference to present a special structured session about the results of KAStrion project, called: KAStrion European project: an overview.  Two people of CETIM and one of ECS were also present. For them, this session has been a good opportunity to present KAStrion project in front of academics and manufacturers.

This Conference has provided an ideal opportunity to investigate the up-to-date technology on condition monitoring and machinery failure prevention technologies. It consisted on four sessions running in parallel covering a wide range of advances in CM fields.

The Conference was organised by BINDT in close co-operation and partnership with the US Society for Machinery Failure Prevention Technology (MFPT). These two leading organisations mixed their effort to create the largest event of its kind at an international level.
