InnoEnergy entrepreneur nominated to EU Prize for Women Innovators 2018

Twelve successful women were shortlisted for this initiative funded under Horizon 2020. Maria Luisa Hernández, founder of Ingelia (supported by InnoEnergy) was one of them.

Congratulations to Maria Luisa Hernández and all the Ingelia team for this nomination to Women Innovators 2018. All the women selected for this prize were evaluated for founding or co-founding very successful companies.

Ingelia is a European SME based in Spain that operates since 2010 as one of the first industrial plants worldwide working with Hydrothermal Carbonization Technology (HTC).

HTC allows transforming organic waste into hydrochar, solving the problems of its management and generating carbon materials for bioindustries applications, in line with EC objectives.

Ingelia is positioned as a leader in its sector in both technological and market development, with a competitive advantage against competitors of at least 4 years.
