Thematic workshop for Clean Coal Technologies, hosted by the Polish co-location at AGH University of Science and Technology on 16th January, gathered many participants interested in joining KIC InnoEnergy group of innovative projects.
The purpose of the workshop was to support the process of creation of new project proposals. Thus, Tomasz Szmuc, Thematic Leader for Clean Coal Technologies, described the co-location thematic strategy, whereas Rafał Mrówka, CEO of CC Poland Plus, presented some practical aspects of submitting a proposal, evaluation procedure, as well as a timeplan, emphasizing available help and suport to project applicants in fulfilling all the requirements.
Over a dozen tentative project ideas were presented covering such diverse subjects as biomass conversion, solid fuels, materials and processes for next generation energy storage systems. The proposal pitch session, attended mostly by representatives from current academy and industry partners within KIC Innoenergy, was followed by question and answer part eagerly participated by the gathered audience.
