This spring students of MSc Energy Transition (previously known as MSc Clean Fossils and Alternative Fuels, had opportunity to attend to 21st edition of Employer and Entrepreneurship Fair which took place March 4th of 2019 in the buildings of Silesian University of Technology Sports Hall in Gliwice. The event was organised by the Silesian University of Technology, coordinated by the Students’ Career Office with the involvement of the representatives of students’ organisations and governments.
The event aims is to establish a direct contact between companies and potential job candidates – students, graduates and academics from Silesian University of Technology.
The Idea of the Fair is to enhance the platform of collaboration in the scope of knowledge exchange between business (including the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises) and academia. Such cooperation may include commissioning studies of new methods, providing materials for writing dissertations, as well as consulting ideas to increase the effectiveness of the company.
During this event students have had opportunity to attend in:
- Consulting Zone (place where students could come to consult with employer their application documents, talk about career and their qualification)
- Attend to 3rd edition of Conference “Dual Education EDUAL”
- Be a part of Friendly Competition activities and worked on communication and organisation skills as well as team working activities.
Next edition of Job Fairs will be organised in October 2019!

Exclusive opportunity for 2019 intake: all students who are applying to the Master’s in Energy Transition as first priority and who are admitted to the programme will be granted a tuition fee waiver (scholarship) worth €7.000 per year.
