In brief: The course provides you with detailed understanding of the interrelations and interactions that affect the German and European energy markets.

Content: As well as in-depth coverage of these important energy markets, the course also covers related topics such as demand and resources, energy efficiency and technological change, and energy systems analysis.

Target group: Energy Economics is mainly designed for experts and executives whose professional field is related to energy supply and who wish to address the economic challenges associated with this topic. Candidates with a degree in natural sciences or engineering will gain a broad understanding of energy economics, while those with a degree in economics will benefit by acquiring specialist knowledge of the energy field.

Duration: Course duration is six months. It is mostly delivered online but some face-to-face components will require attendance.
